The Galician College of Industrial Engineers recognises the Enerwater project as the “best energy efficiency project”

The H2020 Enerwater project, led by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) has received the award for “best energy efficiency project” in the Galicia Energía 2017 Awards, organized by the Official Galician College of Industrial Engineers, in collaboration with the Association of Industrial Engineers of Galicia.

The jury’s decision, which was made up of Oriol Sarmiento Díez, dean of the Galician College of Industrial Engineers (ICOIIG), Julio García Cordonié, secretary of ICOIIG, Francisco Bello Morano, delegate of ICOIIG in A Coruña, Fernando Blanco Silva, delegate of ICOIIG in Santiago, Roberto Carlos González Fernández, delegate of ICOIIG in Vigo, acting as president of the jury Oriol Sarmiento Díez and as secretary Fernando Blanco Silva, took place on 23 February and awarded for “best energy efficiency project” award to the H2020 Enerwater project.

The Galicia Energía 2017 Awards will be presented at the fifth edition of the Noite da Enerxía gala which will be held on 13 April in A Coruña, Auditorium Arao de Palexco (Muelle de Trasatlánticos, s/n).

The aim of these awards is to recognise the best trajectories in the promotion and implementation of good practices in the energy field, as well as the contributions made by professionals or organisations.
